The Digital Garage-backed online marketplace, which connects homeowners with contractors, has raised $10.6m in new funding.
BuildZoom, the US-based operator of a marketplace for remodelling contractors that is backed by internet holding company Digital Garage, secured $10.6m in series A funding on Wednesday.
The round was led by corporate-backed venture capital firm Formation 8, while accelerator Y Combinator and Founders Fund also participated. The size of Y Combinator’s commitment was not disclosed but BuildZoom revealed it constitutes one of the accelerator’s largest to date.
