YaSabe, a US-based Hispanic portal, has raised $2.7m in its seed round from a consortium including wireless services company Brightstar Corp.

Venture capital firm Militello Capital led the seed round, with participation from VC peer 500 Startups, the Center for Innovative Technology’s (CIT) Gap Fund and angel investors including New Enterprise Associates co-founder Frank Bonsal and former US West chief executive Sol Trujillo.
