ProsperWorks has closed a $7.5m series A round to advance development of its customer relationship management platform built on top of Google Apps.

ProsperWorks, a US-based developer of a customer relationship management (CRM) toolkit built on top of Google Apps, has closed a $7.5m series A round featuring media company Bloomberg’s early-stage venture fund Bloomberg Beta.

The round was led by True Ventures and included Crunchfund as well as unnamed angel investors.

In 2013, Bloomberg Beta, Crunchfund and a range of angel investors also backed ProsperWork’s $2.5m seed round.
