The headhunter’s startup initiative has announced a new batch of AI technology startups jointly with a call for proposals for its 16th programme.

Japan-based human resources firm DIP’s artificial intelligence (AI)-themed incubator and accelerator scheme, AI.Accelerator, has unveiled its 15th cohort and opened applications for its upcoming iteration.

The latest batch of six companies was chosen from 64 applications. They included last-mile digitisation service provider 207, AI and digitisation project consultancy Alice, and Asilla, a developer of behaviour recognition software.

The roster was filled out by Hutzper, which is working on AI-equipped image sensors for factory operations; Shovel, a marketing and website designing studio; and Solafune, which owns a satellite data analysis contest platform.

AI.Accelerator has received more than 700 submissions since it was formed in 2017 under the auspices of DIP’s AI-focused media content portal, AINow. The deadline to apply for its 16th edition is February 2021, ahead of a two-month programme set to start the following month.
