Video advertising company Selectable Media receives $2m in Series A funding from Avalon Ventures.

Avalon Ventures has participated in a $2m Series A round for US-based video advertising startup Selectable Media, backed by US-based bank Allen & Company and software provider Microsoft’s Bing Fund.

Selectable Media is used by companies such as NBC, HBO and Samsung as it guarantees them video advertising view-ability. Selectable Media lets publishers better monetize their games and other content by creating incentives to watch high-CPM video advertising.

Early stage venture capital fund Avalon Ventures, focuses on information technology and life sciences.
