Asthmapolis, a US-based mobile health service for people with breathing difficulties backed by California HealthCare Foundation, has raised $5m in its series A round from venture capital firm Social+Capital Partnership.
Founded in 2010, Asthmapolis uses smartphone applications and snap-on inhaler sensors that track when and how often patients use their inhaled medications.
