American Family gets Cozy in $8.5m series B

Property leasing services platform Cozy has completed an $8.45m round led by American Family's corporate venturing unit.

Cozy, the US-based operator of an online property leasing platform, has closed an $8.45m series B round led by American Family Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of insurance firm American Family.

American Family was joined by all of Cozy’s series A investors, which include General Catalyst Partners, Seven Peaks Ventures, Social Capital and angel investors Stewart Butterfield and Jason Calacanis.
