Amadeus Ventures will expand into the Asia-Pacific region early next year, roughly six years after being founded by its Spanish parent company.
Amadeus Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Spain-based travel technology provider Amadeus IT Group, will commence dealmaking in the Asia-Pacific region in the first quarter of 2020, KrAsia reported on Monday.
The unit will target the area as it believes the market there is ripe for travel-focused plays and business models that efficiently translate into other territories.
