Chalmers Ventures has invested more funding in human resources app developer Winningtemp, which is preparing its employee wellbeing software for international expansion.
Sweden-based employee wellbeing app developer Winningtemp has secured €3.2m ($3.7m) in a round backed by Chalmers Ventures, the university venture fund and incubator of Chalmers University of Technology, EU-Startups reported yesterday.
The round also featured VC firm Almi Invest and social entrepreneurship incubator Norrsken Foundation.
Founded in 2014, Winningtemp offers a software app that helps organisations monitor the wellbeing of their employees in order to cultivate job satisfaction and reduce incidences of sick leave.
The app, which is available in more than 15 languages, reports on occupational mental health risks while offering remedies to help improve team morale.
Winningtemp will use the funding to bolster its headcount and fuel product development as it mounts an international expansion that will initially target the UK.
The business previously raised $350,000 of funding in 2016 from Chalmers Ventures along with angel investor Alexander Hars and company co-founders Mathias Fredlund and Pierre Lindmark, after Fredlund and Lindmark had supplied $60,000 on an undisclosed date, according to Breakit.
