Japan's CyberAgent will open an office in Taiwan in June. According to news provider Nikkei, CyberAgent will invest $120m in start-ups operating in China and Taiwan this year.

Venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA) led the $30m C round for TidalTV, and was joined by fellow reinvesting VC firm Valhalla Partners and Comcast Interactive Capital, the corporate venturing unit of local cable company Comcast.
