A round up of third quarter corporate venturing activity.

Japan-based firm Infinity Venture Partners has reached a $32m first close for its $100m third fund, with limited partners including Recruit, Mixi and Sammy Networks.

Personal Capital, a digital wealth management firm, has raised $50m in a series D round with involvement from BBVA Ventures, bringing its total funding to more than $102m.

Spain-based Spotcap, which extends financing to small businesses, raised the funds from corporates Holtzbrinck and Access.

The enterprise software provider will invest $20m in the OpenText Enterprise Applications Fund, and is also open to additional corporate LPs, but the implementation of Canada's venture capital plan is crucial for its closure.

Orbium and Sberbank both contributed to the anti-fraud software developer's series B round, which will support its international expansion.

The payment-linked marketing firm has now raised a total of $170m and begun preparations for an initial public offering that will take place in the next 18 months.

Network operators Verizon and Digicel both contributed to a round that almost doubled the mobile payment company's overall funding.
