Celgene secured the money two months after raising $100m from the Kuwait Investment Authority and additional funding from Blackberry.

Pharmaceutical company Celgene agreed yesterday to invest $25m in NantHealth, a US-based developer of a cloud computing platform for healthcare.

Celgene previously invested $75m in NantHealth’s sister company, NantBioScience, earlier this year, and its commitment to NantHealth is part of a collaboration that will involve Celgene accessing NantHealth’s knowledge base and clinical operating system to aid clinicians and medical researchers in developing cancer drugs.
