LED hardware manufacturer Kateeva has raised $38m in a series D round that included Samsung's corporate venturing arm, lifting its total funding to $110m.
Kateeva, a US-based manufacturer of flat panel OLED displays, has raised $38m in a series D round featuring Samsung Venture Investment Corporation (SVIC), the corporate venturing unit of electronics conglomerate Samsung.
Veeco Instruments, a producer of LED and eletronics manufacturing equipment, also took part in the round, as did venture capital firms Sigma Partners, Spark Capital, Madrone Capital Partners, DBL Investors and New Science Ventures.
