Event-planning service HoneyBook has now received $32m in venture funding to date, following a $22m series B round.

Human resources firm Recruit, which acquired a 7% stake in restaurant reservation platform Quandoo in October, has elected to buy the entire company.

The neighbourhood-based social network took its total funding to $210m with a Comcast-backed round raised at a $1.1bn valuation.

The online marketplace paid $267m to buy real estate platform Anjuke, giving an exit to Baidu in the process.

The insurance provider will seek to invest in insurance, asset management, fintech and healthcare technology.

Co-working space AlleyNYC raised the money in a round featuring publisher Entrepreneur Media, and will now look to open a second New York premises.

Tencent and Wanda are among the likely investors in the restaurant listings and reviews site, which could boost its total funding to almost $1.5bn.

The printing services company secured the funds from backers including Opt, Dentsu, Link and Motivation, Gree and Itochu as it looks to expand internationally.
