WeWork has acquired digital visitor sign-in system developer Welkio less than six months after it was spun out of consulting agency Hathway with $400,000.

The logistics service, backed by Alibaba and a host of other corporates, has reportedly raised funding at a $7.7bn valuation, illustrating the effect e-commerce has had on the logistics sector.

The IDG-backed on-demand massage service has closed its third funding round in just over a year and the second to be led by private equity firm Riverside.
