Technology company Demandbase has raised $15m in series D financing led by return backers Scale Venture Partners and with continued involvement from Adobe.

New investors Norwest Venture Partners were joined by Kleiner Perkins and Medtronic in a $30m D round for US-based medical device company Intersect ENT.

The money will be used to begin manufacturing the company's QuantumFilm image sensors, which are currently being evaluated by phone manufacturers ahead of shipping devices in the second quarter of next year.

Simulmedia has now raised about $32.5m in total.

Verizon and salesforce.com backed iOS push technology developers Urban Airship concludes $25m Series D round. The round was led by August Capital with contributions from others. The funds will be used to expand the workforce for accelerated product development.
