The Rocket Internet-launched ride sharing app has closed a Tengelmann-backed series D round that took its overall funding to $77m.

Augmenix has raised $10.8m in a series D round that will support the launch of its new hydrogel product.

The solar cell developer has now secured over $200m since it was founded, as roofing material company GAF joins Sunpower and Spirox in backing the company.

Computer harwdare manufacturer Western Digital's investment unit led the cloud storage company's series D round, which increased its total funding to $72m.

Big data retail company RetailNext took its total funding to almost $60m in a round backed by investors including Nokia, Qualcomm, Tyco and American Express.

Job listings website Simply Hired has raised $12m in an IDG-backed series D round that brings its overall funding to more than $34m.
