Intel-backed smart building analytics platform Enlighted has now accumulated more than $80m in funding and will spend the money on European expansion.

The mobile payment platform has now raised $51m in total, with Rocket Internet, Smart Communications and Holtzbrinck Ventures among its backers.

Haisco has also signed an agreement to be the exclusive distributor of Regentis Biomaterials' hydrogel, developed to treat cartilage damage, in China.

Cisco Investments returned to back cybersecurity company eSentire, after taking part in a $12.7m round in 2014.

The cloud data storage company added new strategic partner Telstra to its investor base in a series D round also backed by Harvest Global and China Broadband Capital.

Salesforce Ventures has contributed to a series D round that increased the personalised search technology developer's total funding to almost $100m.

Joincare Pharmaceutical acquired a 14.9% stake in Apricot Forest as part of a series D round that will value the physician information app at $200m.

Intel Capital has invested in big data technology developer GigaSpaces for a third time, and the funding will go to innovation, sales and marketing.
