Comcast Ventures returned to lead a series D round for online wedding registry Zola that attracted its sister company NBCUniversal as a new shareholder.

SoftBank made its second investment in the genomics tool developer as part of a round that enhanced its total funding to $185m.

Qualcomm Ventures, an investor in the data centre switch producer since its series A round, returned to help boost its total funding to $165m.

The streaming platform has now raised almost $150m in total, having secured funding from investors including 21st Century Fox, AMC Networks, Sky and Discovery.

Sumitomo and American Express Ventures added $12m to a round already featuring Daimler, SK Holdings and Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures.

UC Investment Office, an existing Constellation backer, has returned to contribute to a $100m round that took its total equity funding to $229m.

Legend Capital-backed Axonics Modulation Technologies has secured $40.1m, with $20.1m raised as equity and $20m in a credit facility supplied by Silicon Valley Bank.
