Nokia led the LED company's $23m series C round featuring Nokia Growth Partners, to support its global expansion, raising the company's total funding to more than $60m.

Xcovery has now raised $26m in total, having secured $6m two years ago.

Network operators Verizon and Digicel both contributed to a round that almost doubled the mobile payment company's overall funding.

Existing investor Google Ventures also participated in the round, which increased the advertising marektplace developer's total funding to $21m.

Diabetes diagnostics app developer Telcare has now raised almost $70m in total after a series C round featuring Qualcomm, which made its third investment in the company.

Network equipment supplier Benu Networks, backed by Comcast, Liberty Global, Arris and Motorola Mobility, has raised $27.7m in series C funding and appointed a new CEO.

Taxi ordering app GrabTaxi has raised $65m in its third round so far this year, bringing the total raised by the company to about $90m.

The internet company took a 10% share in e-commerce platform Koudai, which is aiming to leverage a partnership with WeChat to sell more widely.

Cisco was among the investors in a round that will allow data analytics company Loggly, which boosted its overall funding to more than $33m.

Salesforce-backed marketing software developer Gainsight has raised $25m in a series C round that brought its total equity funding to $54m.
