US-based Enterprise OpenStack company Piston Cloud Computing has raised $8m in a series B round led by Cisco Systems.

In December 2010, One97 Mobility Fund, the corporate venturing unit of the eponymous local mobile phone operator, provided an undisclosed amount.

The other investors in the round besides Dentressangle Initiatives (also known as Hi-Innov) were Newfund and Orkos Capital.

German-based online fashion community moodboard startup Stylight, has raised an undisclosed amount in series B funding led by SevenVentures.

Earlier in the month, Nest hired Tom vonReichbauer as its chief financial officer from electric car maker Tesla.
