OnCorps, a social networking start-up for technology veterans backed by venture firm Andreessen Horowitz, has taken part in a $4m funding round using an angel fund it runs for its community of users.

The China-based private equity firm will reportedly work with the three corporates, including Cathay Financial Group, to invest in app design companies.

Sadara, a Palestine-focused investment firm, is reportedly nearing its first investment after raising a fund last year backed by Google, Cisco and others.

InnoSpring, a US-China incubator backed by China-based Tsinghua University Science Park, launches its seed fund with backing from firms including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and TEEC Angel Fund, which is founded and funded mainly by entrepreneurs and executives graduated from Tsinghua University.

Intel Capital backs the social dating network's seed round along with CrunchFund and other investors.

SAP Ventures is running the $155m fund, which will reportedly also focus the traditionally late stage corporate venturing firm on early stage deals.

The partnership between Merck and the venture firm, follows the pharmaceutical company partnering with venture firm Lumira and fund of funds Teralys Capital last month.

The search engine company raises $47,5m from gaming company Zynga's secondary offering as its prolific deal-making continues.
