Clinical research partner dMed has completed a series B round that included returning investor Lilly Asia Ventures as it seeks to expand internationally.

Dai-ichi Life has led the final close for the Japan-based financial technology developer’s $38.8m series C round, which includes Marui, Aizawa Securities and SBI Group.

Debt marketplace operator CrossLend raised $38.5m in a series B round led by Santander InnoVentures at a reported valuation of more than $110m.

The edge computing technology developer revealed it has raised a total of almost $280m, $145m coming from a series C round co-led by HPE.

Online automotive marketplace Cars24 has secured $100m for its series D round, $52m of which came from investors including KCK last month.

The reinsurance data software provider received $12m in a round co-led by Transamerica Ventures and backed by Allianz X and Insight Catastrophe Group.

Existing investor OATV took part in a $20m debt and equity round that boosted the total raised by the research services platform to approximately $78m.

The online literature platform has secured $100m in a series B round that included parent company Qutoutiao, with CMC Capital leading the round.

Crimson Education, which helps students submit university applications, has raised cash in a series C round in which Chow Tai Fook Education put up half the money.

Aioi Nissay Dowa, Toyota Motor, Mitsui and SBI Group have provided $32.2m for the deep learning technology producer, bringing its overall funding past $45m.
