The University of California Berkeley spin-out raises $75m for collaboration projects

Life sciences spin-out Cartegnia attracts funding from its parent university Leuven.

A Merck investment subsidiary was among the backers for the $9.3m round, which follows a $300,000 equity investment in 2009.
