Siemens-backed cancer therapy developer ViewRay has raised $26.7m in equity and gone public through a reverse merger with a shell company.

The Mitsui-backed home care service has now raised $20m altogether, and will use the proceeds from the NewSpring Capital-led round to expand into new markets.

Ra Pharmaceutical will use the proceeds from a series B round also backed by Novartis and Amgen to advance a blood disease treatment towards clinical studies.

SutroVax, a Sutro Biopharma spin-out that also counts Johnson & Johnson as an investor, will use the series A capital to further develop its biopharmaceutical vaccines.
