Hypertension treatment device maker Rox Medical has taken its total financing to $50m with a series E round co-led by Novartis Venture Fund.

The round featured conglomerate Ackermans and van Haaren, Institute of Pathology and Genetics and Regional Investment Company of Wallonia.

The Stanford spinout is working on technology that enables the real-time mapping of the brain and has now secured a total of $11.5m in funding.
