SoftBank is planning to allocate additional capital to Latin America-based deals after forming a $5bn regional fund two years ago.

The fund will invest in companies linked to École Polytechnique, including spinouts, alumni-founded startups or businesses incubated by the school.

Atlas Sensor Technologies, GrowFlux, Motorleaf, New West Genetics and SunPath have been selected to participate in Wells Fargo’s Innovation Incubator.
