The fund set up by the Russia-based internet marketing company is seeking to invest, in particular, in software as a service solutions, as well as in internet marketing and advertising services.

Speaking at the Open Innovation forum in Moscow, Alexey Kalinin, Rosatom project director, said: "We are in a tender process to appoint a general partner (GP) to manage the fund and hope to close in early 2013 with $250m to $300m."

Founded in 2001, Tsing manages four dollar-denominated clean-tech funds with $600m in aggregate and two RMB funds with a total size of RMB1bn ($160m).
