Wealth management services provider Jupai, which completed a $53m IPO in July 2015, is set to secure $22.9m from Sina and Julius Baer.

The peer-to-peer lending platform has received $46m in its first funding round, which was led by conglomerate HNA's financial services subsidiary.

The digital banking services provider has so far raised more than $5m from backers such as Gree and Beenos.

The insurer's corporate venturing subsidiary has funded Bee, CoPromote, PriceMethod and GoldBean in the second half of 2015.

The financial planning technology developer has followed a Transamerica-backed round last year with $16m of series B funding.

The insurance group will allocate the funding to internet of things, data and analytics, sharing economy and customer experience startups over the next five years.
