Gonnissen had spent two and a half years as manager of corporate venturing at Bekaert before leaving last month for a university venturing fund.

Lundemose is co-founder of several companies including Symphogen, Santaris and Prosidion, a UK subsidiary of OSI Pharmaceuticals where he had been a managing director of OSI's corporate venturing unit.

The portfolio company also said its users have answered questions on more than 2,000 topics over 85 million times since it launched in October.

Fidelity Growth Partners Europe (FGPE), backed by mutual fund manager Fidelity's balance sheet, led the round, and was joined by return backers, venture capital furms Index Ventures and Greylock Partners.
