Hydropower firm Green Highland Renewables has raised $3.3m led by Scottish Equity Partners's Environmental Energies Fund

Private equity group Apax Partners and Comverse Technology, a provider of software and systems enabling network-based messaging and content services, sold Starhome to Fortissimo.

Software company Decisyon has closed its series A round at $15m led by investment firm Axel Johnson.

The VGF Emerging Market Growth I fund has more than $200m commited and will target mid-sized companies in resource efficiency, consumer sustainability and renewable energy sectors in Russia, Turkey and central and eastern Europe (CEE).

Both HTGF and Fraunhofer Venture had previously invested in ConWeaver in 2010.

Music service 7digital has received $10m in funding to help expand its new B2B platform.

Alongside Statoil Technology Invest in the round are venture capital firms Investinor and ProVenture Management.
