Private equity firm Cathay Capital has closed its first Cathay Innovation fund with backing from BNP Paribas Cardif, ADP, Artemis, Joyoung, SEB, Michelin, Total and Valeo.

The media company has sold ad-for-equity stakes in 16 portfolio companies to private equity firm Lexington Partners for about $57m.
