Intesa Sanpaolo and Old Mutual were among the limited partners in a private equity fund that will invest in growth-stage financial services businesses in Africa and Asia.

Rocket Internet, DMGT and Holtzbrinck Ventures have backed an $8m series A round for the food delivery service, which aims to expand from London and Berlin next year.
