Existing backer Naspers invested $50m to $100m in the company's latest round, which raised up to $600m - its third nine-figure round this year.

The design-led e-commerce company, backed by a host of corporates, could reportedly be sold for as little as $15m after closing a $150m round only last year.

Cosmetics brand Glossier has followed up a $2m seed round raised in September with an $8.4m series A backed by talent agency William Morris Endeavor.

Food delivery app Yes I Deliver has received $13m in a series A round with involvement from Xiaomi, adding to a seed round raised last year.

Skincare device maker La Lumiere has raised $20m in a series B round featuring Johnson & Johnson that will fund the commercialisation of its IlluMask product.
