Tencent and Wanda-backed Weiying Technology and rival Gewara have agreed a merger that will create the second most popular online ticketing platform in China.

Google Capital is reportedly in talks with the online automotive marketplace, which has so far raised $65m, to lead a round sized at up to $30m.

The fund created by Axiata and government-owned fund Mavcap, has already committed a total of $3m and expects to provide follow-on funding.

The second-hand fashion marketplace has attracted $27m from a consortium including Hubert Burda Media, and plans to now expand into new markets.

The insurance group will allocate the funding to internet of things, data and analytics, sharing economy and customer experience startups over the next five years.
