Flipkart and IDG Ventures-backed property rental platform NestAway is seeking between $30m and $50m for its next funding round as it aims for more growth.

The corporate venturing arms of Citi and American Express reinvested in cognitive content generation platform Persado, boosting its overall funding to $85m.

Softbank Capital has returned for a $22m series C round for Reonomy, after previously leading the commercial real estate data provider's series A and B rounds.

The smartphone maker has led entertainment content platform Hungama's latest round, which also included existing investor Intel Capital.

Mars Petcare has reportedly paid $117m for smart pet collar developer Whistle, which had raised $25m from investors including Nokia and Qualcomm.

Salesforce and StepStone were among the investors as the phone-based marketing technology company took its overall funding to $60m.

GV returned for a second investment in the database technology developer, which was founded by former Google engineers.
