Freight delivery marketplace and software provider uShip has doubled its total funding with a round led by key customer DB Schenker.

The enterprise service desk software provider has added Salesforce Ventures to its investor base in a round that increased its overall funding to $44m.

Baidu's corporate venturing unit made its first investment as part of a series B round led by Time Warner Investments that included Hearst Ventures and Verizon Ventures.

Cloud security services provider Evident.io has secured $22m in a series C round led by Alphabet subsidiary GV, bringing its total funding to $49m.

Automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor led the round, reportedly investing in the used car appraisal and sales service platform together with unnamed automotive industry funds.

Cloud wifi technology provider Mojo Networks has raised $30m in series E funding and debt, with strategic partner Alpha Technologies among the participants.

Cybersecurity technology developer Exabeam has added Cisco to its shareholders, while several investors including Norwest Venture Partners returned.
