ClickFox previously raised $18m in its C round in 2010 from venture capital firms Ascent Venture Partners, Cedar Fund, and Veritas Ventures, as well as Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners.

In April 2011, Digital Lumens raised $10m from the same investors to take its then-aggregate since launch to $25m, with Silicon Valley Bank providing credit.

In October 2011, Chartboost secured $2m in its series A round from backers including SK Telecom Ventures, the corporate venturing unit operated by SK Telecom, the telecommunications division of South Korea-based conglomerate the SK Group.

The company previously held a $42.5m first close on the round, including from Roche Venture Fund, WuXi Corporate Venture Fund, and Google Ventures.

In September 2010, Hasso Plattner Ventures invested in Panaya's $6m round alongside venture capital firms Benchmark Capital and Battery Ventures, which agreed to acquire financial investor Tamares Group's stake in the company.

US-based website Buzzfeed, which tracks the most shared content on the web, raises $19.3m in its series D round.

US-based data start-up for hospitals and health systems Kyruus raises $11m in a series B round led by Lux Capital, which was joined by Fidelity Biosciences, Venrock and Highland Capital Partners.

US-based biotech startup Solstice Biologics, which has an exclusive licence with University of California, San Diego, receives $18m series A investment.
