Gyft, a US-based mobile gift card management application, has raised $1.25m from a consortium including Google Ventures, which led the round, and was joined by venture firms Founder Collective and 500 Startups.

Alongside Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC) in the A round, were venture firms I2BF Global Ventures and Waarde Capital.

Cerbomed, a Germany-based medical device company that focuses on neuromodulation to treat mental illness, has raised $2.6m from peer Cyberonics.

Alongside Foley Ventures in the round were venture capital firms Baird Venture Partners, GCI and Calumet Venture Fund and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board.

The other investors besides Google include angel Mark Cuban, FF Angel, Naval Ravikant, AngelList and SecondMarket, according to news provider Tech Crunch.
