Maria Leontiou was head of business development and growth for the Greek bank before taking her new position.
Maria Leontiou has joined Eurobank Next, the corporate venture capital arm of Greece-based financial services corporation Eurobank.
After serving three years as Eurobank’s head of business development and growth for wholesale banking, Leontiou has moved into the company’s CVC division as the head of the unit.
A company veteran, Leontiou has been at Eurobank for 21 years, starting as a senior officer in over-the-counter derivatives operations. She was also head of innovation in digital banking.
Leontiou was a broker in the Athens Stock Exchange for two years, overseeing BX Financial Services and Pegasus Securities Investment Services.
