The outdoor educational course provider plans to expand to additional cities using the investment from WndrCo, which took its total funding to almost $30m.

Media holding company WndrCo has invested $21m in Tinkergarten, the US-based operator of an outdoor child-education network.

Founded in 2012, Tinkergarten provides outdoor-based learning courses to help children aged from six months to eight years old develop their physical, cognitive and social-emotional skills.

The company’s courses cover skills such as teamwork, communication, critical thinking, creativity and problem solving, as well as subjects like maths, literary and science. It is available in more than 1,800 locations across the US.
