WME books Ferreira for venture fund

Fab.com's former chief operating officer is managing partner for the talent agency's corporate venturing fund, WME Ventures, which is currently raising capital.

Beth Ferreira, formerly chief operating officer of e-commerce company Fab.com, is among the partners of WME Ventures, talent agency William Morris Endeavor’s corporate venturing subsidiary, Fortune has reported, citing a regulatory filing.

WME has made several small-scale venture capital investments but the Hollywood Reporter reported in August this year that the company would seek to form a dedicated fund for which it would look to raise up to $150m.
