The bookmaker has formed a London and Israel-based accelerator that will invest $39,000 in each of its startups.

UK-based bookmaker William Hill has launched an accelerator called WHLabs in partnership with investment fund L Marks that will develop technology for the gambling and gaming industries.

The London-based accelerator will offer eight startups a place on a 12-week course beginning in September. Each startup will receive a £25,000 ($39,000) investment from William Hill and the chance to receive up to £150,000 in additional funding.
