Whiteout Networks, a Germany-based company that provides end-to-end encryption of emails, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding. The seed round saw investment from High-Tech Gründerfonds and Bayernkapital.

Oliver Gajek, co-founder and chief executive of Whiteout Networks, said: “People send hundreds of billions of email messages per day, with strongly increasing usage of cloud services and mobile devices. Our mission is to make strong encryption technology easy to use and available on all modern platforms.“
