Apprenticeship training platform WhiteHat has added Salesforce Ventures to its shareholders as it looks to expand beyond London.

UK-based apprenticeship training platform WhiteHat secured $16m yesterday in a series A round that featured Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of enterprise software producer Salesforce.

Index Ventures led the round, which also included fellow venture capital firm Lightspeed Ventures.

Founded in 2016, WhiteHat provides non-graduates with training courses covering digital marketing, social media, software development, accounting project management, data analysis and management.
