Anna Westerberg has moved from Volvo Penta, Volvo's engine manufacturing division, to its corporate venturing unit, where she has been appointed president.

Anna Westerberg has taken over from Johan Carlsson as president of Volvo Group Venture Capital, the corporate venturing unit of Sweden-based industrial group Volvo.

Westerberg previously spent five years responsible for the industrial business segment strategy, product range development and sales engineering at Volvo Penta, which makes diesel engines.

Prior to Volvo Penta, she was managing director of a start-up company, Infocandy Group, for three years.

Carlsson is now senior vice-president at Volvo Penta after four years running the company’s corporate venturing unit.
