The telecommunications company's corporate venturing unit was among the investors in a round that will help mobility technology company Vox expand internationally.
US-based mobility management technology provider Vox Mobile completed a $6.7m investment round on Friday featuring Telus Ventures, the corporate venturing unit owned by telecommunications company Telus.
The round also included venture capital fund Mutual Capital Partners, growth equity firm Edison Partners and private equity firm Permal Capital.
Vox’s technology helps businesses manage their mobile infrastructure. It raised $7.5m in 2012, according to a regulatory filing.
