Volvo Technology Transfer and state fund Industrifonden sell Illuminate Labs to Autodesk.
Volvo Technology Transfer, the corporate venturing division of Sweden-based car subsidiary Volvo, and state fund Industrifonden have sold the portfolio company Illuminate Labs to US-listed computer-aided design company Autodesk.
Illuminate Labs develops lighting and illumination technology, such as its Turtle and Beast ranges, for computer games and Volvo increased its undisclosed stake in November 2006.
