We are very pleased to announce Arvind Sodhani [pictured], who has led Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of the US-based chipmaker for nine years, will be the opening keynote of our May London Symposium.
The importance of developing a sustainable corporate venturing model, and thereby pushing the frontiers of venture capital, is the theme we have chosen for our upcoming London Symposium on May 20 and 21.
For this reason we are very pleased to announce Arvind Sodhani, who has led Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of the US-based chipmaker for nine years, will be the opening keynote of our symposium,
Sodhani is tasked with speaking to how to create a permanent corporate venturing institution, as his group has shown the world how corporations can be an unrivalled force in venture capital when they do it right.
Intel Capital has invested more than $11bn in the last 20 years making it perhaps the largest venture investor globally. Following an expansion of its sector focus to nine areas last year, the group is maintaining its position as the most active corporate venturing unit, and will doubtless be a force to watch for many years to come.
We are looking forward to hearing from him, as well as representatives from many of the other most active corporate venturing units including Qualcomm Ventures’ Nagraj Kashyap, Microsoft Ventures’ Rahul Sood and Jens Eckstein, who leads SR One, the corporate venturing unit of GlaxoSmithKline.
