Online travel agency Woqu has raised $20m in a series B round led by Tencent, five months after the company's official launch.
China-based online travel agency Woqu has received $20m in a series B round led by internet company Tencent, QQ Tech reported on Thursday.
Venture capital firm Morningside Capital also participated in the round. Woqu, which officially launched in April, provides all the travel essentials and tourist information for Chinese citizens looking to travel to the US.
The new funds will be used to develop mobile services and expand into international markets. Woqu raised $1m in series A funding from Morningside Ventures shortly after its launch.
